Dear Family and Friends,
As some of you already know we are moving to Oregon at the end of May this year. We are making this move to be closer to family at this time. It has been our dream has to be closer to family since leaving California in 2001. Rick has been invited to teach grades 3-5 in the Oregon Conference in Scappoose, OR.
Over the last three years we have been blessed to be a part of the ministry team at the Twin Falls Seventh-day Adventist Church. We have made friendships and memories in Idaho that we will take with us forever. Our youngest son, Matthew was born and dedicated to G** in Twin. Joshua, our eldest, has grown from an infant to total boy in the rugged high desert of Southern Idaho. We have enjoyed being part of children's ministries leading out in Beginner's and hosting fellowship luncheons.
Rick has had tremendous support from the local conference and constituency over the last three years as he led Hilltop Advetist School to regional accreditation this year. Rick has grown professionally as well; becoming a mentor in the Idaho Conference School System mentoring teacher's in 2003, and 2004. He was also a part of a conference accreditation team in April '03 and evaluated an elementary school in Pocatello, Idaho. In addition to his teaching duties, Rick made time in 2004 to grow professionally by attending a Mathematics Workshop on integrating NCTM Standards into the curriculum and Thematic Based Instruction (the next wave in education), as well as becoming a member of the International Reading Association.
The Peinado's are excited about their future in Oregon and hope to put down deep roots as they watch their boys' grow up in our Creator's image.
